Transforming Zayed International Airport's Retail Experience

Exciting News, CSQ is thrilled to share the success of our engagement within the RDD (Retail Design and Delivery) Team for the new Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi. Our team faced the collaborative task of reviving the major hub for air travel in the Middle East.

In 2023, the airport launched its new terminal, which has been built to cater to the growing demand for air travel in the region. The new terminal has been designed to accommodate up to 45 million passengers per year and has been hailed as a significant achievement in terms of design and construction.

CSQ was engaged to manage the retail design delivery and fit-out from design review, through fit-out, to merchandising and opening.

We are extremely proud to have overcome several challenges including the reengaging with the retailers and their contractors to meet the opening date.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• Managed the Retail, Design and Delivery of 160+ Retail and Food & Beverage units.
• Coordinated over 60 general contracting companies towards a unified goal, overcoming hurdles with careful planning.
• Successfully carried out our responsibilities as Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Management for the Airport Hotel and Lounges.
• Introduced a robust project control process with the CSQ Master Tracker, managing over 32,000 data points.
